Members of the men’s cross country team from the early 1990s reunited at the 2004 Virginia Beach Rock ‘n’ Roll half marathon. The group has been meeting for the Labor Day weekend race the last seven years to trade stories and see who still can run. Their 1991 ODU team finished second in the CAA men’s cross country championships. Other cross country alumni who are interested in joining them for the Labor Day 2005 event are invited to call Ray Springsteen ’92 at 603-828-8341. Runners included Chad Mitchell ’93, Mike Nestor ’93, and Jeff Greene ’93, and Springsteen and Jason Felice ’93.
