Atlanta Pride
The Pride of Atlanta will gather at Jocks and Jills in Brookhaven from 6-10 p.m. July 11, and will host a picnic for recent graduates and new students from the Atlanta area on Aug. 15. The Pride will again participate in the Race for the Cure on Oct. 24, preceded the night before by a pasta dinner and business card exchange. Black Alumni Council
More than 100 parents, students and alumni attended the annual Black Alumni Council induction ceremony on campus May 7. Christine Handy '85 welcomed the new graduates into the council.

Boston Pride
The Pride of Boston was chartered in May at a meeting of the Alumni Association board. A formal ceremony will be held in the Boston area. For more information about the association's newest Pride call Ross Fairweather '71 at 508-747-3697.
Greensboro - Raleigh/Durham
Interim president Mike Davis '90 is coordinating activities for this new group, which is developing a charter package for Pride status. For more information call Mike at 804-793-0410. M.B.A. Association holds annual dinner James McClellan, a vice president with Norfolk Southern Corp., was guest speaker for the third annual M.B.A. Association dinner at Norfolk's Town Point Club April 18. He gave an insider's perspective of the Norfolk Southern-CSX battle for Conrail. Over 60 members - M.B.A. students and alumni - attended.
The association meets the third Friday of each month during the fall and spring semesters. Recent speakers have included Ray Compton of Dollar Tree Stores and Steven Winter '80 and his wife, Lynne, of Edgewater Asset Management.
