Call For Nominations

The Old Dominion University Alumni Association board of directors is a 35-member volunteer board. Alumni may be nominated to serve on the board by fellow graduates, faculty, staff or students. Current members of the board appoint new directors from nominated alumni each spring. Board members may serve no more than two consecutive four-year terms.

All ODU graduates are eligible to serve on the board of directors. Candidates also should possess the following qualifications: demonstrated service to the university; willingness to make a strong commitment to Alumni Association projects; demonstrated dependability and established commitment to the Dominion Fund of $250 or more in the year of nomination.

To nominate an alumnus/alumna for membership, submit his/her name, class year, major and contact information, as well as a brief explanation of why you believe your nominee is qualified. Also submit your name, class year and contact information.
