Biology Alums Return To Blackwater Preserve
In conjunction with the inauguration of its Natural History Seminar series, the biological sciences department sponsored a field trip for alumni, faculty and friends of the program to the Blackwater Ecologic Preserve near Zuni, Va., on April 16. The trip came one day after the first lecture in the series, given by Harry Greene of Cornell University, a noted author who conducts research and teaches in the areas of behavioral ecology, evolution and conservation of predators. Leading the trip was ODU’s Lytton Musselman, Mary Payne Hogan Professor of Botany and chair of the biology department.
