Oceanographers’ Notecards On Sale Notecards featuring the beautiful, colorful photomicrographs of oceanographers Lisa Drake and Martina Doblin are now on sale at the University Bookstore and other locations throughout Hampton Roads. With their striking images of microscopic sea creatures, the cards integrate art and science in their depiction of beauty in nature. A brief description of each organism is noted on the back of the 5x7 cards, which cost $10 for a set of ten. The notecards are also available at the Virginia Marine Science Museum in Virginia Beach, the Mariners' Museum in Newport News and Cristallo Art and Glass Studio in Williamsburg. The project was financed through a Faculty Research Award and proceeds will help repay printing costs.
