Three join ranks of University Professors

Glen Sussman (Political Science and Geography), Charles E. Wilson Jr. (English) and Gilbert R. Yochum (Economics) were designated as University Professors at the start of the 2001-02 academic year. The honorary appointment is for four years.

The designation, created in 1998 as a way to reward superior teachers, includes an annual stipend of $2,500 to support teaching and professional development.
