Four former Monarchs were inducted into the ODU Sports Hall of Fame this spring: Ronnie Drumwright ’58, Kevin Gibbs ’95, Odell Hodge ’97 and Charlie Ogletree ’89. Drumwright ran track and cross country for the Norfolk Division and set five school records. Gibbs completed his career as ODU’s third all-time hitter with a .392 mark. Hodge, who plays pro basketball in Belgium, is one of only four Virginia Division I collegians to score more than 2,000 points and collect over 1,000 rebounds. Ogletree and his teammate won a silver medal in the Tornado sailing class at the Olympic Games in Athens.
