Calling all alumni! Mark your calendars now for Homecoming 2009, Nov. 2-7, Old Dominion’s first Homecoming that culminates with a football game.

“For years, the student body has done an excellent job planning a week of Homecoming activities around men’s and women’s basketball games,” notes Dana Allen, assistant vice president for alumni relations. “This year, we’re excited to add the element of football and begin the tradition of looking forward to the big game.”

More than just football, Homecoming week will offer something for everyone, including a campus-wide service project, 5-K run, Black Alumni Chapter reunion and distinguished alumni speaker.

A full schedule, plus events surrounding the Monarchs’ game against North Carolina Central on Nov. 7, will be announced in the next edition. Updates will also be posted at www.odualumni.org.
