Stay Connected In The Lion’s Den

Have you visited the Lion’s Den? In September, the Alumni Association launched an overhauled online community site. Here, ODU grads can update their contact information, reconnect with other alumni and post a resume. Alumni business owners can even list their company in the alumni yellow pages for free.

The site also features a gallery of photos from alumni events and campus construction projects, a calendar of events and a place to post a class note. “With this tool, alumni can locate their friends, connect with friends of friends and stay connected to the university,” says Jacque Peters ’87, president of the Alumni Association.

“With the online community, we can ensure that information arrives in a timely manner. There are over 106,000 alumni, and currently 6,300 of them are registered members of the online community – that means we have some work to do!”
