With just over a month to go in the regular season, the Lady Monarchs ranked 13th nationally, the highest rating since the 2001-02 team reached the Elite Eight. Through 19 games, the women were 16-3, the losses coming against perennial powers Tennessee, Connecticut and Stanford. Senior guard T.J. Jordan led the team in scoring (13.6). The men’s team was 10-11 through Jan. 26. Among the losses were games with some of the nation’s top programs – North Carolina, Georgetown and Clemson.
