Elie Wiesel To Speak On Campus March 28

Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel will speak at 4 p.m. March 28 in the Ted Constant Convocation Center. His talk is free and open to the public.

Wiesel’s personal experience of the Holocaust has led him to use his talents as an author, teacher and storyteller to defend human rights and peace throughout the world. Three months after receiving the Nobel Prize in 1986, he and his wife established The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity to create a new forum for the discussion of urgent ethical issues.

In 1958 Wiesel wrote “La Nuit” (“Night”), an account of his experiences at Auschwitz.
