Five alumni join Educational Foundation board

Eight new trustees, including five alumni, joined the Old Dominion University Educational Foundation board in July. Elected to three-year terms on the 45-member board were:

Charles Catlett ’70, senior vice president and CFO of Central Virginia Bank. He is a current member of the Alumni Association board of directors.

Warren Harris (M.P.A. ’83), director of economic development for the city of Chesapeake.

Susan Hunt (M.B.A. ’85), president of Atlantec Financial Federal Credit Union.

Miles Leon, president of S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. Inc.

Louis Morris ’76, president, CEO and director of Old Point Financial Corp. in Hampton.

Michael Torrech ’96, president of Tecnico Corp., an industrial and marine manufacturing firm in Chesapeake.

Mark Warden, portfolio manager at Wilbanks, Smith & Thomas Asset Management, LLC.

Lewis Webb, attorney with Kaufman and Canoles, Norfolk office. He is the son of the late Lewis W. Webb Jr., Old Dominion’s first president, and Virginia Rice Webb.

The Educational Foundation manages endowed funds and other assets of the university valued at more than $100 million.
