JERRY T. BROWN ’65
Degree: B.S., Business management
City: Suffolk
Occupation: President, Delbanx Consulting, Suffolk (retired marketing manager, DuPont Co., Wilmington, Del.)
Favorite ODU memory: “Being a member of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, which enhanced my business knowledge, built additional relationships with business school faculty and provided a fun-filled social venue for all members. Two fraternity projects at that time were to operate a used-book store on campus and to publish the first student directory. We also hosted local business leaders as speakers and took field trips to business sites.”

TYRONE S. GOODWYN ’83
Degree: B.S., Business administration (double major in marketing management and management information systems)
City: Washington, D.C.
Occupation: Senior technical director, AT&T
Favorite ODU memory: “My favorite memories center around Webb Center circa 1979-1983: Playing Uno in the back of the cafeteria; nesting in the comfy denim sectional sofas in the front of Webb; watching the newly released ‘An Officer and a Gentleman’ in the Rathskeller.”

AMY MORRISSEY TURK ’96
Degree: B.S., Political science
City: Virginia Beach
Occupation: Corporate counsel, Dollar Tree Stores Inc., Chesapeake
Favorite ODU memory: “I would say my final home tennis match against Virginia Tech in 1996. It was a beautiful spring day, I was recovering from the stomach flu so I had not practiced most of the week, and I battled this fantastic German girl into a third-set tiebreaker, only to find myself down 6-0 in the tiebreaker. One more point and she would have won the match. I remember looking over at my parents, my teammates, who doubled as my closest friends, and my coach. All were cheering me on, trying to will me to win. From somewhere down deep I mustered enough focus and energy to roll off seven points in a row to win the match. And then I collapsed. It was the last time I would be a Lady Monarch at home. The years 1992-96 were the best four years of my life – without a doubt.”
