Praxis Core replaces Praxis I for Educators
<p> This is a reminder that effective January 1, 2014, the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Test: Reading (5712); Writing (5722); and Mathematics (5732) replaced the Praxis 1 Pre-professional skils test for reading, writing, and mahematics as the assessment for entry into a Virginia approved teacher education program. Individuals who took the Praxis I assessment prior to the December 31, 2013 deadline and meet the criteria are deemed to have taken the prescribed assessment.</p> <p> If individuals have questions about the Praxis Core, they may contact the Teacher Education Services and Advising office at 757-683-3348.</p>
