Using his gift for spoken word poetry as a teaching tool, LeDerick has been recognized across the country as a motivational speaker and advocate for people with disabilities. From 2003 to 2012 LeDerick served as Board Chair of “Eye to Eye” (eyetoeyenational.org), a national nonprofit which provides mentoring programs for students labeled LD/ADHD.
Students are invited to participate in workshop from 4PM to 5PM in the Monarch Room, Webb University Center. The focus will be on the development of self-advocacy skills for students with disabilities.
