<p align="center"> The Old Dominion University community is invited to a Ph.D. dissertation proposal defense of the following student in Counseling:</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p align="center"> <strong>Hsin-Ya Tang</strong></p> <p align="center"> March 21, 2014</p> <p align="center"> 9:00 a.m.</p> <p align="center"> Room ED 118</p> <p align="center"> &nbsp;</p> <p align="center"> &nbsp;</p> <p align="center"> <strong>Supervisor perceptions of their multicultural training needs for working with ELL supervisees</strong></p> <p align="center"> &nbsp;</p> <p align="center"> &nbsp;</p> <p align="center"> Dissertation Committee: Dr. Tim Grothaus (Chair and Methodologist), Dr. Chin-Yen Chen, and Dr. Ted Remley</p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p align="center"> <strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p> &nbsp;</p> <p> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Using a grounded theory methodology, this study will examine First Language English Speaking (FLES) supervisors&#39; perceptions of their training&nbsp;needs for&nbsp;successfully working with English Language Learning (ELL) supevisees.
