<p align="center"> <strong>Providing Audio or Video Feedback for<br /> Student Assignments and Surveys</strong></p> <p> Recently. there has been an increased discussion about and a growing interest in providing audio or video types of feedback to students for a variety of reasons.&nbsp; If you are convinced this is the way to go to improve your course, to improve your course evaluations, to improve your students&rsquo; performance, to increase the relevance of your feedback, and to even reduce your time on task, attend this workshop to learn about ways to provide either audio or video feedback or both.&nbsp;&nbsp; If you aren&rsquo;t sure this approach is appropriate for you, attend this workshop to explore the options and then make that decision.</p> <p> During this hands-on workshop at the faculty-focused Center for Learning and Teaching, you will have an opportunity to embed audio feedback in a Word document, to attach audio feedback to your graded Blackboard assignments and other tools like discussion, wikis, and blogs, and to utilize Kaltura and YouTube from Blackboard.&nbsp; You will also see demonstrations of using Adobe Connect to annotate as you speak.</p> <p> <strong>When:</strong> The workshop will be held on<strong> Thursday, February 6 from 1:30-3:30pm</strong></p> <p> <strong>Where:</strong>&nbsp; The Center for Learning and Teaching&rsquo;s Faculty Development Lab, <u>Gornto 101</u> or via two-way audio/video at the Higher Education Centers.</p> <div> <p> <strong>To register:</strong>&nbsp; Log in at <a href="http://clt.odu.edu/">http://clt.odu.edu</a> and use the <em>teach</em>ODU module or click Events in the top navigation.</p> </div> <p> &nbsp;</p>
