In fall 2014, we will transition to the online 2-way web conferencing technology that will improve the quality of the learning environment for both faculty and students. </p> <p style="margin: 9px 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font: inherit; vertical-align: baseline; line-height: 18px; color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; "> Faculty members are invited to attend the Distance Learning Faculty Forum on Friday, February 28th from 3:00 to 5:00 in room 1002 of Constant Hall.</p> <p style="margin: 9px 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; font: inherit; vertical-align: baseline; line-height: 18px; color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; "> The purpose of the Forum is to articulate the shift from satellite and video streaming technologies to the University’s online 2-way web conferencing solution. A demonstration of the new technology will be presented and the impact on how faculty teach at a distance and how students can access course content will be discussed.
