<p> <strong>Student Employee of the Year 2014: </strong><strong>Deadline noon&nbsp;February 14<sup>th</sup>, 2014</strong></p> <p> Each year the Career Management Center makes it a point to recognize student employees for their contributions and achievements at work. It is now time for all campus supervisors to nominate your student employees as the Student Employee of the Year - Old Dominion University.</p> <p> <strong>The Career Management Center is looking for a student worker who you feel exhibits the assets of reliability, high quality of work, initiative, attitude, and overall professionalism.</strong>&nbsp; A panel of judges at ODU will select our top 3 finalists and name the winner.&nbsp;</p> <p> <strong>Every nominee will be invited to an award ceremony here at ODU</strong>. ODU&rsquo;s winner will then be submitted to the regional SASEA (Southern Association of Student Employment Administrators) pool and if selected will win cash prize and a plaque of recognition SASEA Regional Student Employee of the Year.&nbsp; The regional winner is then one of the quarter finalists in the national competition and will have the opportunity to become National Student Employee of the Year and receive an additional cash prize and a plaque presented by an official of the National organization.</p> <p> <strong>The nomination form only takes minutes to fill out and is open to all student employees</strong>, so please take the time to recognize our amazing student workers. Please address the following attributes when writing your letter: <strong>reliability, quality of work, initiative, attitude, professionalism, and uniqueness of contribution.&nbsp; </strong>Make the Nomination Letter or attached form as comprehensive as possible in order to give your nominee the best chance to win this award. &nbsp;<strong>Submissions and Supporting Nomination Letters (on Official Office Letterhead) must be received on or before February 14<sup>th</sup>, 2014 at 12:00 PM </strong>for consideration.
