Teaching with Technology Award
The Teaching with Technology Award is a means to recognize the excellence of Old Dominion's faculty and their innovative contributions to the quality of teaching and learning through the application of information technology.
Please take this opportunity to help identify your colleagues who have made creative and effective use of technology to improve their courses and programs by nominating them for this award.
Eligibility
Any full-time faculty member at Old Dominion University.
Award and Presentation
Award funds ($3000 per person, up to 3 awards) and a $1,500 department stipend will be provided to advance the use of technology in the classroom. The award will be presented at the annual Faculty Awards and Retirement Dinner, scheduled in May.
Nomination Process and Schedule for 2013
Nominations can come from colleagues, from students in consultation with a faculty member, or from self-nomination and must be submitted to the appropriate College Dean by February 27, 2013, with the endorsement of the Department/School Chair.
