Communicating Effectively with International Students and Scholars
International students provide a wonderful opportunity to learn about other countries and, many Americans are surprised to realize, learn about the U.S. This session provides concrete information and examples to facilitate better communication with international students and faculty and to provide an environment where cultural exchange and understanding can take place. We will also discuss the specific challenges facing international students as they work to achieve their goal of an American degree.
