Restorative Yoga Classes

A Different Kind of Yoga:  Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga. Combining gentle movements and conscious breathing techniques, Restorative Yoga offers a special focus on supporting the body for extended moments of stillness, eliminating strain and stress and its injurious effects on the body/mind. Blankets, bolsters and blocks support, surround and cradle the body in a sequence of postures awakening your “inner healer” and initiating “deep relaxation” — a state of being that actively promotes rejuvenation, healing, and renewed health of the body, mind and spirit.

Autumn Restorative - Lymphatic & Circulatory System with Cecelia Rice

Autumn is the time of the year nature asks the trees to give up their foliage and go inward to nurture that which lies beneath the surface-their roots. We are also a part of nature-Autumn asks us to slow down, go inward and nurture that which lives beneath our outer physical form in preparation for the coming months.
