Fall 2012 Global Certificate Program

Join us for this upcoming session of the Global Certificate Program:

Complexities of Being an International Student

How does it feel to be an international student who has to juggle a variety of school and immigration obligations?  What is it like to arrive in a new country and jump into the whirlwind of orientation, housing searches and course registration?  In this session, you, the attendee, will have an opportunity to be an international student and feel the challenges they face. This session provides an introductory overview of immigration regulations, health insurance requirements, and more—all responsibilities critical to every international student’s success.

 Date: Wednesday, October 17th

Time: 10.00 a.m.-12.00 p.m.

Location: Dragas Hall 2111

The Graduate Certificate Program is a Certificate Program for faculty, staff and graduate assistants to develop and/or enhance skills for working with and learning from international students and researchers at Old Dominion University.
