Extending Access to the Scholarship on JSTOR

 

The University Libraries is presenting “Extending Access to the Scholarship on JSTOR,” by Jason Phillips, Director of Institutional Participation and Strategic Partnerships for ITHAKA, on Wednesday, October 24th.  There will be a reception at 6:00 p.m. in rooms 1310-1311, followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.

Jason leads JSTOR and Portico's library relationships, working with the global library community to provide archival, managed preservation, strategic research, and access services to JSTOR, Portico, and ITHAKA S+R.  

He speaks at conferences on issues related to scholarly publishing, extending access to content important to scholarly work, and the effect of technology on teaching and learning.

Jason holds an MBA from American University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Library Science degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
