offers through the Department of
Communication and Theatre Arts
a B.A. in Theatre Arts,
with an emphasis in Digital Filmmaking,
Theatre Education, Performance, and Design Technology.

The Program offers a full range of courses in performance, design technology, digital filmmaking, history/theory, and production.
The resident faculty is augmented by nationally recognized guest artists and the P.O.R.T program linking our students with the Virginia Stage Company (LORT D) a professional regional theatre, adding further expertise in specific styles and craft areas, as well as providing students with contacts in the world of professional theatre and entertainment.
The Program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST) and Virginia teacher certification is available through the theatre education emphasis.
