The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice offers courses in anthropology, criminal justice, sociology, and social work. Students may earn a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in sociology and criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in sociology or criminal justice, a Master of Arts degree with a major in applied sociology or a Master of Arts in applied sociology with a criminal justice certificate. The Department currently hosts approximately five hundred student majors. We offer our criminal justice program state-wide through Old Dominion University's TELETECHNET program.
