Description
Gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 – 5 p.m. (the Galleries are closed on Mondays). Co-sponsored with ODU’s Center for Educational Partnerships, “Unclassified” introduces visitors to the work of military and civilian children from the 1950s to the present. Through this work, the children express their thoughts and feelings about growing up “military.” The work is on loan from the American Schools Historical Society, current military families and children who participated in Lora Beldon’s Military Kid Art Project, “The Hundred-Year Starship.”
