Digital Portfolios

All ODU Art Education students are required to produce a digital portfolio. Work is developed in Art 305 Elementary Art Education, Art 406 Secondary Art Education and copleted during Student Teaching. Students also evaluate learning by using BLOGS to reflect weekly experiences in practicum placements and student teaching.

Students compile:

lesson plans

examples of student artwork

personal artwork

resume

volunteer work

student work

teacher and artist statements

Portfolios assess student learning by reflecting on and evaluating each of the requirements listed above. These samples represent the developed skills and blossoming talents from our department.
