Investigations Division
The Old Dominion University Police Department's Investigations Division currently employs two Police Detectives, one Detective Sergeant and one Detective Lieutenant.
The Investigations Division actively investigates all crimes that occur on the Old Dominion University Campus, and assists the City of Norfolk Police Department's Investigators with cases that occur in the area of concurrent jurisdiction shared by both departments.
The Investigations Division also conducts all surveillance operations and undercover police activities, and provides fingerprinting for students, faculty and staff for job applications or identification purposes.
All Campus Crime Statistics are tabulated by the Investigations Division, as well as the Campus Crime Line, which is updated on a regular basis, and provides information regarding the latest criminal activity on the campus and surrounding areas.
