Virginia Beach Higher Education Center

General Information
Parking facilities at state assisted institutions of higher education are considered auxiliary services, and may not be funded with state appropriated funds, i.e. tuition and taxes. Fees for decals, metered parking, daily rate passes, and parking fines produce the revenue that supports the operation of the university's parking program. Parking revenues are spent on maintenance, security, lighting, development of new facilities and all other operating expenses.

The Commonwealth of Virginia and Old Dominion University do not assume responsibility for any damage, theft, or loss of a motor vehicle or its contents when it is parked, or being operated on University property, and for damages from being immobilized or towed. The registered owner and vehicle operators are responsible for the safeguarding of their property from theft, accident and/or vandalism.

Hours of operation are:

• Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Closed weekends and holidays

Semester Break (mid December through - mid January),Spring Break and Summer Hours

• Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
