Returned Mail
Mail is returned because of one or more of the following reasons:
- No budget code
- Incomplete addresses
- Staple on mailings
- Postage area must be clear of markings
- Country of destination must be spelled out in English
- Bulk mail address must be typed
- Return receipts must be placed on the back of envelope(s)
- No return address
- Overstuffed envelopes
- Clasps must be covered with tape
- Bulky envelope(s) must be sealed
- Bulk mail must be in zip code order
- Registered mail cannot be mailed in jiffy bags
- Registered label must be placed on top envelope(s) next to the return address
