This electronic training is designed, primarily, to help managers and supervisors who are responsible for supervising full time classified employees including completing an annual performance evaluation. The following "training objectives" have been established:

Effectively perform the supervisory responsibilities in each phase of the performance management cycle. 

Recognize and implement opportunities for collaboration with employees throughout the performance cycle.

Set clear employee performance standards that align with University and Department vision, mission and goals.

Effectively document and communicate performance feedback throughout the performance management cycle.

Understand and correctly use the three performance ratings on annual evaluations.
