Compensatory Leave Taken (CLT)
Compensatory leave provides eligible employees with paid leave as compensation for additional hours worked during specific times.
Compensatory leave is credited when an eligible employee works additional hours in a work week; works on an official office closing day, a holiday, or a scheduled day off; or when a holiday falls on an employee's day off.
Compensatory leave must be taken within 12 months from the date it was earned.
Compensatory leave earned, as well as taken, is recorded on the Leave Activity
Reporting Form.
