Easy way to file the FAFSA or release your information to ODU

If you have a PIN # and have a FAFSA on file:

• Go online to www.fafsa.ed.gov/ go to middle column at bottom of page and select "Make corrections to a processed FAFSA"
• Use ODU's school code - - 003728 -- to release your information electronically
• If you do not have a PIN #, but have a FAFSA on file:
• Call the US Department of Education's Federal Processor at 1-800-433-3243 and request to add ODU to your FAFSA
• You will need to have your DRN # from your Student Aid Report (SAR)
• If you do not have a SAR you may need to request that a duplicate be mailed to you
• Use ODU's school code - - 003728 -- to release your information electronically

If you do not have a FAFSA on file:

• File on-line www.fafsa.ed.gov/ be sure to include Old Dominion University and school code 003728
