Please note: To validate if the faculty members ID
card is a PROX card, they should look on the back of the card. Under the
magnetic strip - on the left side - they should see some blue characters
+ letters and numbers. If there is nothing on the left side under the
strip, they need to go to the ODU Card Center (in Webb) and request a
new PROX ID. If their office is in the EC&S building (i.e. Math, some
Computer Science, & some Aerospace Engineering faculty, they could
have on older PROX card. Those didn't have the blue characters on the
left side, but will work.). The faculty member must send a request to
OCCS (occshelp@odu.edu) to activate
the access to a technology classroom using the proximity cards. |
