Refunds for Academic Semesters

If the University has been formally notified of the student's intention to withdraw by the completion of the drop/add form no later than the first week of scheduled classes and provided there are no other outstanding debts, a tuition refund will be authorized as follows:

  • A full refund of tuition for students completely withdrawing from the University.
  • A full refund of the difference between tuition paid and the new tuition charges for students, including part-time students, who drop courses but do not completely withdraw from the University.

If the University has been formally notified of the student's intention to withdraw by the completion of the drop/add form no later than the second week of scheduled classes and provided there are no other outstanding debts, a tuition refund will be authorized as follows:

  • A one-half refund of the tuition paid for students who completely withdraw from the University.
  • A one-half refund of the difference between tuition paid and the new tuition charges for students, including part-time students, who drop courses but do not completely withdraw from the University.

If the University has been notified of the student's intention to withdraw by the completion of the drop/add form after the first two weeks of classes, a refund will not be made.
