Monarch Dining Services Employee Honored for Volunteer Work

Christopher Sevilla, a Monarch Dining Services marketing assistant at Old Dominion University, was recently selected as a 2014 Aramark Outstanding Volunteer Award winner and a bronze Jefferson Award for Public Service honoree.

Since 2008, the company has recognized nearly 300 employees as outstanding volunteers. Aramark award winners are selected based on a combination of factors including longevity and commitment, impact of service and participation in company-sponsored volunteer projects.

According to the company, the Aramark Outstanding Volunteer Award "acknowledges the tremendous contribution of our team members who live our mission to deliver experiences that enrich and nourish lives... These Awards were created in partnership with the (Pace University) Jefferson Awards for Public Service, an organization that recognizes, inspires and activates volunteerism in workplaces, communities and schools across the United States."
