History Faculty Members to Present Program on World War I

Four faculty members from the history department will present a program on "Remembering World War I" Thursday, March 27.

Sponsored by Old Dominion's Town-N-Gown organization, the free presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Virginia Rice Webb Room of Webb Center.

The speakers will be professors Maura Hametz and Lorraine Lees and assistant professors Brett Bebber and Timothy Orr.

The program offers an opportunity to learn about the history and legacy of the Great War as we approach the commemoration of its 100th anniversary. Light refreshments will be served.

Those planning to attend are asked to contact Town-N-Gown at townngownodu@yahoo.com or call 464-2885.
