Benefit Production of ‘Vagina Monologues’ Set for Feb. 14-16
The Women's Center's annual benefit production of "The Vagina Monologues," which celebrates women's sexuality and strength through wit and grace, will stage three performances this month.
All proceeds raised will support VDAY's Spotlight Campaign and the Women's Center's community partner, Response of the YWCA, to end violence against women and girls.
The performances, in Chandler Recital Hall of the Diehn Center for the Performing Arts, are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14; 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16.
Joan Bautti, assistant director of the Women's Center, and her intern, Saige Hill (who also has a small part in the performance), are co-directors of the production. It features 23 students and one faculty member.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Webb Center Information Desk. For more information contact the Women's Center at 683-4109 or womenctr@odu.edu.
