Donations Accepted Until Morning of Nov. 25 for HACE Thanksgiving Food Drive

The deadline to contribute nonperishable food items to the Hourly and Classified Employees Association Thanksgiving food drive is Monday morning, Nov. 25. Monetary donations (for grocery store gift cards) are also being accepted.

HACE has received nominations for more than 180 ODU employees who could use a little extra help during the Thanksgiving holiday. The organization will present food boxes and gift cards (which can be redeemed for turkeys) to these employees on Nov. 26.

Food collection boxes are located in buildings throughout the campus. Monetary donations (cash or checks made out to HACE) should be sent to Donna Bean, HACE treasurer, in 204B Rollins Hall. For more information, contact Steve Daniel, food drive coordinator, at 683-3093 or sdaniel@odu.edu.
