Registration for ODU Summer Sessions Opens Today

Registration for summer sessions at Old Dominion begins Monday, Nov. 11, the earliest that summer registration has opened in university history.

With more than 2,400 undergraduate and graduate course sections to choose from, summer is an ideal time for students to begin or expand their college journey.

Old Dominion's Summer Studies program includes unique opportunities for teachers and military personnel.

For teachers, ODU offers courses that will help in the recertification process. In addition, summer courses prepare educators interested in transitioning to a different area of teaching at their schools. For military personnel, summer courses can be taken online, at sea or at a number of education centers throughout Virginia and beyond.

Current ODU students can register for summer courses starting Nov. 11, and open registration begins Nov. 23. Summer classes begin as early as May or as late as July.
