Psychology Prof to Give Talk on Leadership for ODU Virginia Beach Lecture Series

Konstantin Cigularov, assistant professor of psychology at Old Dominion, will give a talk, "To Follow or Not: How to Lead to Success," Wednesday, Oct. 30, for the ODU Virginia Beach Faculty Lecture Series.

Cigularov will share his most recent research on what it takes to be a successful leader. His scholarly work reflects his interest in optimizing individual and organizational performance, safety and health through developing supportive organizational climates and leadership. His work has been featured in the 2009 Pulitzer-winning articles of journalist Alexandra Berzon (currently at the Wall Street Journal).

The program, which is free and open to the public, will be from 7-8:30 p.m. at the ODU Virginia Beach Lecture Hall, 244 A&B. The lecture will be followed by a reception. For more information call 386-4100.
