Dr. Kady is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Management & Systems Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a focus on safety and ergonomics from Auburn University. He received his M.S. in Engineering Technology with an emphasis in manufacturing from East Tennessee State University (ETSU), and his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Jordan.

Dr. Kady's primary research interest focuses on the application of human performance, modeling, and optimization techniques to emergency evacuation. Other research interests include system safety, behavior-based safety, occupational safety, ergonomics, human factors, and work measurements.
